Lecturing Journey

I started my lecturing career in year 2013 after obtaining my bachelors degree. It started as part-time something at OpenArc to teach UCSC external degree BIT while working as a SE in the same premises. Now it's being full-time both in offline and online modes. UCSC-BIT was expanded to the Mora-BIT and also started to teach online at Edupedia World. Now I have my own educational portal MasteringX. So here onwards from 2017, I thought to put every stuff I used in my lecturing journey in this blog to keep everything in order and as a memory. Maybe some might find something useful on it.

Fundamentals of Software Engineering

This is a compulsory 3rd semester course in UCSC-BIT which uses the Sommerville's and Pressman's SE reference books. Basically this course introduce you the Software Development Process Models and follows the general stages of analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. Apart from that it discusses QA and project management.

e-Business Applications

This is an optional 6th semester course in UCSC-BIT which uses generally the Schneider's eCommerce reference book. This course is a fully theoretical course introducing the basic concepts of eBusiness.

Rapid Software Development

It was the very 1st course I used to start my lecturing career in 2013 and was a total disaster. Day by day I overcome the disaster and improved so far in my understanding. This is a compulsory 4th semester course in UCSC-BIT which generally focusing on discussing the agile methods. It introduces the two famous agile methods SCRUM and XP.

Professional Issues in IT

This course is personally the all time favourite of mine. Took over the course initially as bit of a challenge, as previously, all through the starting from the course's implementation it was conducted by a senior level personnel. The course is a compulsory 5th semester course in UCSC-BIT and follows three reference books; BCS Frank Bott's, Reynolds' and Tavani's. It gives a good insight on current trends in technological issues as well as related law around the world.

Logic Programming

This course is a compulsory 3rd semester (Level 2 - 1st Semester) course in Mora-BIT which I started lecturing it after obtaining my Masters Degree. Basically this course contains First Order Logic, Inference and Resolution and Prolog Programming. It uses the Russell's AI and Bratko's Prolog reference books.
